Funny. Heartwarming. Emotional. Touching. Revealing. Informative. Hopeful. But most of all, a beautiful story of love and determination told with a lot of witty humor, a touch of spice, and many deep thoughts and feelings, all intertwining freely and quickly. Thank you for sharing your personal life, your thoughts and observations, and for making me jealous for the bag of bloody bones. Awesome book.

<![CDATA[Review of Turkey Street by Barbara Nadel]]>Sun, 08 Nov 2015 11:30:02 GMThttp://www.jackscott.info/jacks-news/review-of-turkey-street-by-barbara-nadel
Turkey Street...a great rattlingly paced read which also provides a snapshot of a Turkey that is changing in ways none of us, as yet, fully understand. It’s both a pick me up and, at the end of the book, provides a very good account of what has happened in Turkey in recent years, especially in relation to the Gezi Park protests of 2013. I absolutely loved it.
